Felt borders are whimsical and versatile. On this page, I chose to run the border up the side of my page, but I could have easily cut the individual flowers and used them as embellishments, framed my page with the border, or paired the border with a transparency. Use a border in a unique way on your next layout for surprisingly fun, playful results. 

Do It Yourself
If the realm of pre-made scrapbooking felt doesn’t hold exactly what you’re looking for you can always create felt embellishments of your own. I used my QuicKutz Revolution and thin stiffened felt to create the custom-made letters featured on this happy summer page. Pick your favorite colors of felt and make fuzzy embellishments for your pages.

Keep homemade felt pieces stuck to your pages by adhering them with Therm O Web PEELnSTICK adhesive sheets, a Xyron machine, or tacky glue.
