Fun With Felt

Fun With Felt

Have you ever felt like there was a perfect product out there for you? One of my current favorites is felt. All the sweet little shapes and scallops have such a homey feel and the bright colors of the fabric can brighten up any page or project. Here are a few simple ideas for incorporating felt into your scrapbooking.

Spell It Out
I’ve been hooked on dimensional letters lately and there are plenty of felt alphabets available to add visual interest to any page. This cheery felt title adds whimsy to my page and the colors keep it fresh and fun. Use letters from different felt font sets to create a “ransom letter” style title.

Big Time
Why not go big time with your love of felt? On this family page, I cut down a 12 x 12 piece of felt, matting my photo and journaling and contributing to the cozy mood of my page. Be more daring and use felt as the backdrop for your entire page.
